Embed Biotech has successfully closed a £1.5M (US$2M) financing round to advance development of its bioelectronics platform towards clinical application.
The funding follows Embed Biotech’s spinout from Imperial College London in April 2024 and builds on promising preclinical results demonstrating the potential of the Company’s technology to enhance healing with targeted biophysical signals.
Proceeds from the financing will support the development of clinical prototypes, expansion of the company’s technical capabilities, and progression towards key translational and regulatory milestones.
Investors participating in the round include Orthopaedic Research UK, Kayan Ventures, and Cur8 Capital.
