Embed Biotech has moved into new offices in the Harley Street Health District, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey from Imperial spinout to independent venture.
Following the successful completion of its £1.5m pre-seed funding round, the company has moved into new offices within the historic Medical Society of London building, founded in 1773 and located in the heart of London’s globally recognised medical and healthcare district.
“Leaving Imperial is a huge moment for us,” said Thomas Hall, CEO at Embed Biotech. “Imperial has been instrumental in our early development, and moving into our own space is a defining step in becoming an independent company following our pre-seed round.”
Located among leading clinics, medical institutions, healthcare providers, and life sciences organisations, Harley Street has long been associated with medical excellence and innovation. The Medical Society of London building adds a unique historical dimension to Embed Biotech’s new chapter, combining nearly 250 years of medical heritage with the next generation of medtech entrepreneurship.
The new office will serve as a base for the company’s growing team, strategic collaborations, and continued development following recent investment.
